Your Pathway to Canadian Residency Through Strategic Investment

C

anada’s Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) offer a unique opportunity for investors and entrepreneurs to gain permanent residency by contributing to regional economies through business investments.

At Grupo Sineva, we provide the expertise, resources, and strategic guidance you need to make your investment count, supporting both your immigration goals and business success in Canada.

The investment-based PNPs are designed to attract individuals with the resources, skills, and vision to start or expand a business in Canada’s provinces and territories.

At Grupo Sineva, we specialize in guiding investors through these programs, ensuring they meet provincial requirements and successfully establish their business in Canada.

Elegibility Requirements

Minimum Investment and Net Worth

Each province sets a minimum investment threshold, typically ranging from $150,000 to $500,000 CAD. Applicants must also demonstrate a net worth that meets provincial requirements, proving they have sufficient financial capacity to sustain the business.

Relevant Business Experience

Applicants should have a background in business ownership or senior management experience. This experience demonstrates the skills needed to successfully operate a business in Canada.

Business Proposal or Plan

A detailed business plan outlining the nature of the investment, the business model, projected economic impact, and job creation potential is required. Provinces want assurance that the investment will bring genuine benefits to the region.

Job Creation and Economic Benefit

The employee must have worked with the foreign entity for at least one year in the past three years.

Application Process

Our team works closely with you to develop a business plan that highlights the economic and social benefits your investment will bring to the region. This plan includes financial projections, market analysis, and job creation details to meet provincial standards.

We handle every step of the PNP application process, from documentation gathering to submission. Our experienced consultants ensure your application is accurate, complete, and compliant with provincial requirements.

Each province has unique PNP requirements and economic priorities. We help you select the best region for your business goals, aligning your investment with local economic needs for a stronger application.

Once nominated, we provide guidance on the transition to permanent residency, helping you complete the federal PR process and establish your business successfully.

Processing Overview

Application Preparation

Our internal preparation process—including consultation, collection of supporting documents, and drafting of forms or submissions—depends largely on how quickly the applicant provides the necessary materials. On average, assembling a complete and well-prepared application may take several weeks.

Visa Appointment Scheduling (Visa Posts / VACs in Canada or Abroad)

If an in-person appointment is required (such as biometrics or an interview), availability can vary depending on the visa application centre (VAC) or consular post. Some locations offer appointments within a few weeks, while others may experience backlogs or seasonal delays.

Decision and Permit/Visa Issuance

Once the application is submitted to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or through a visa post abroad, processing times vary based on application type and volume. In many cases, decisions are issued electronically. Approved applicants typically receive their work or study permit, or visa, shortly after a positive decision.

Request for Additional Information or Documents

IRCC may issue a request for additional documents or clarification during the review process. While not always common, this can extend processing timelines. Our thorough preparation aims to minimize the risk of such requests by submitting a strong and complete file from the outset.

In-Canada Processing and Flagpoling

For applicants already inside Canada, applications for extensions or changes of status (e.g., employer-specific to open work permit) are processed by IRCC. In some cases, individuals may choose to use flagpoling at the U.S.-Canada border to receive same-day permit issuance, if eligible. Standard processing through IRCC can take several months, depending on the application type and current workloads.
